TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

The Broker - The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that is a few months old, that range is solid.

The Software

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is offered for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That will make the platform set once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not something the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

This is the thing Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.

Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and what you get is strong. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You put money in, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
